If My Site Looks a Little Wacky
Hello readers, the few of you out there, if you visit my site these days and things look a little wacky it's because I'm experimenting. I'm trying to teach myself HTML, so naturally my personal blog space as become my playground. Today I made my Reading List on my sidebar. Earlier today, I somehow managed to enlarge the text throughout the blog--thankfully, I knew what I was doing so I corrected it immediately.

'The Mandarins' and 'Iron John' make for an interesting pairing! I read de Beauvoir's 'The Second Sex' a long time ago, but I'm not sure I'd read it again. (Was of its time?) And as for 'Iron John' -I'm afraid that may make me lose my carefully nurtured feminine side... ;)

ReplyDeleteWell, you're right, of course. My ever so slight (and joking) defensiveness - not that I need to be like this blogwise - comes from years of cultural and familial conditioning, no doubt. In Blogland we can be who we are (in my case strongly-beta-male with a penchant for poetry not football).
