Happiness is . . .

. . . opening the front door and being greeted by a whole new, magical world.

Happiness is gazing out at a new blanket of snow and saying to yourself, "Yay, now I don't have to go to that thing tonight!"

Happiness is a walk through a still and eerily quiet forest.

Happiness is capturing snowflakes.

Happiness is putting on your snowshoes for the first time this winter:)

(I'm also happy because I finally found the self-timer function on my camera!)

  2. Beautiful Grace, and you certainly do look happy. I ended up with only two kiddies today...most of my moms are teachers so they were lucky to have the day off...unfortunately, not me. The day really seemed long but my two got picked up by 3:30 so I did get a chance to go out and play in the snow too. We certainly got a lot of it and it's still coming down heavily. Perhaps our planned hike around Card Lake on the weekend will become a snowshoeing trip instead.

  3. LOVE the snow pictures! I had to watch it from my work window today, and walk in the snow-rain on my way home, but it's kinda nice regardless to have some snow finally :)
